Dancing In The Dark Tarot

Some truths only reveal themselves after dark.

The Dancing in the Dark Tarot is a collaboration between accomplished artist Gianfranco Pereno and celebrated author Lunaea Weatherstone — a 78-card deck rooted in traditional Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism and completely reimagined through Pereno's extraordinary fine-art ink illustration style. Every card is a study in dynamic movement, exquisite detail, and the kind of compelling contrast that makes you stop mid-reading to simply look.

The aesthetic is dark, ethereal, and deeply expressive — figures in motion, midnight energy, the luminous otherworldly quality of ink on black. The full moon presides. A white cat dances at the edge of the frame. The symbolism runs deep and the imagery rewards repeated use, offering new angles on familiar archetypes every time you return to the deck.

For readers already comfortable with Rider-Waite-Smith, this deck offers a genuinely fresh perspective — familiar structure, completely transformed feeling. For newer readers, the visual richness makes intuitive reading immediately accessible.
