February: The Art & Science of Herbal Formulation

February 4th | The Art & Science of Herbal Formulation 6:15 - 7:30

Creating an herbal formula involves more than combining plants that are known for similar uses. It requires understanding herbal actions, energetics, preparation methods, and how different plants work together.

In this class, we'll explore the reasoning behind thoughtful herbal formulation. We'll discuss how to identify a formula's purpose, select herbs for specific roles, consider proportions, and balance traditional knowledge with practical considerations.

Whether you're new to blending herbs or looking to become more intentional with your formulas, this class will help you move beyond following recipes and begin understanding why a formula works.

This class is highly recommended in preparation for our Tea Blending Workshop later in February, where we'll put these formulation principles into practice!

You'll leave with:

• An understanding of herbal actions, energetics, and formulation principles
• Practical knowledge for choosing and combining herbs with intention
• A small botanical gift or learning tool to continue your exploration at home
