The Druid Animal Oracle Deck
The Druid Animal Oracle Deck
The Druid Animal Oracle Deck
Step into the ancient world of Celtic tradition with The Druid Animal Oracle Deck by Philip & Stephanie Carr-Gomm, illustrated by Bill Worthington. This beautifully illustrated deck draws from the deep wellspring of pre-Celtic and Celtic Druidic wisdom, bringing 29 sacred animals and 4 dragons to life through artwork rooted in the principles of sacred geometry.
Each card is composed using the pentagram, circle, and square — the same sacred proportions employed by the megalith-building Druids in the construction of stone circles. The card borders carry messages written in Ogham, the ancient tree language of the Druids, weaving an additional layer of ancestral meaning into every draw.
The Journey of the Animals
The deck begins with the Blackbird, who stands at the Gateway — the Place of Beginnings — and journeys through the five Oldest Animals: Stag, Owl, Eagle, and Salmon, guides into the Otherworld. The journey then turns outward through the empowerment of the four dragons, concluding with the Seal. Three blank cards are included for drawing your own personal animal companions.
