Vegvisir (Protection) - Elder Futhark Box and Runes On Padauk Hardwood

An engraved Vegvisir (Protection) Stave adorns the top of this padauk hardwood, finger jointed and lidded box, filled with a set of square, paduk hardwood Elder Futhark (Viking) runes. 

Traditionally used for divination, this beautiful set is both useful and an object for any collector.

The 25 runes, including a blank rune (traditional for rune reading) and are stained and sealed hardwood, on both sides, and measure about 1 x 1 x 1/4". The box measures approximately 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 x 2”
